Terms of Use

Pepperword Inc. ("Pepperword", "we", "us") makes the Pepperword mobile application and its AutoFill extension (the "App") available through the Apple App Store. The App is licensed, not sold, to you, and your use of it is governed by the agreement described below.

1. License agreement

The App is licensed to you under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to the Standard EULA, which you can read at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.

The Standard EULA governs the scope of your license, permitted use, restrictions, intellectual property, and Apple's role as a third-party beneficiary entitled to enforce it.

2. Subscriptions

Some features, including iCloud Sync, are sold as auto-renewable subscriptions through the Apple App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. A subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple ID account settings.

Apple processes all payments and manages the subscription lifecycle. We do not receive your payment details. See our Privacy Policy for how subscription status is handled.

3. No warranty

The App is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. The warranty disclaimers and limitations of liability in the Standard EULA apply to your use of the App.

4. Recovery and your responsibility

Pepperword derives your passwords on your device from your image-based entropy and a passphrase you choose. We do not operate accounts, we do not hold your keys, and we store no recovery key. If you lose the image used as your entropy source or forget your passphrase, your passwords and stored data cannot be recovered — by you, by us, or by anyone else. Keep a secure backup of the image you use as your entropy source.
